Melbourne

Melbourne, our last stop in Australia, how sad! We went out for the day with Bear and Oscar and our first stop was a museum they had visited previously. The best attraction by far was a matrix style slow motion 360 degrees film recorder. That was really difficult to explain, but if you've seen the matrix move, you know what I mean! We messed around in it and sent all the movies to our email so we could watch later. The links are at the bottom but not sure how long they'll last!

We spent the rest of the day wondering around the town. We had a few drinks in the evening but when we decided to leave the hostel it was gone midnight and we couldn't find anywhere open! I also couldn't watch the rugby which in hindsight was probably for the best and the less said about it the better!!

The last day was spent sleeping and doing chores! Yes we have chores even though we are on holiday!! Not chores like you have at home but comparable considering we're on holiday!! We also had to pack and get everything from our surfboard bag and food bag into our rucksacks!!

We went up the sky tower as the sun was setting and then finished off our day with a few drinks back at the hostel. It was then time to say our goodbyes to Bear and Oscar...again! Although this time it would be the last until we meet up back in Europe! Very sad!!

That's it for Australia kids. We are leaving intact after surviving the evil Australia sharks, crocodiles, jellyfish (at least we survived without any fatal stings), and deadly spiders and snakes!

It's New Zealand next and we've got a plan with a (camper) van.

The lasting impression we've left on people us that beans and cheese can go on toast and potato, much to the disbelief of everyone!
